Owain - Founder and Creative Director
Owain Ford is an experienced actor, writer and facilitator with over a decade of experience creating and delivering engaging experiences for children and young people. His work has included internet safety, careers, enterprise, resilience, sustainability and STEM.
As a founding director of Become Inspired, Owain shapes the creative experience behind our programmes and guides the facilitation team that delivers it. He combines the energy of live performance with strong educational practice to ensure every experience is engaging, age-appropriate, inclusive and purposeful.
Owain has worked with organisations including Google, CBBC, the Civil Service, Nestlé and Blesma, with extensive experience adapting his approach for different ages and abilities, including SEND settings.
Owain's aim is simple: to make important learning something young people experience, engage with and remember.

My background:
An experienced educator and historical reenactor, passionate about bringing learning to life. I specialise in helping schools understand neurodiversity.

I own a Viking-inspired harp — and one day I intend to learn how to play it!

Actor, facilitator & drama teacher
My background:
An actor and facilitator with over a decade of experience working with young people, alongside a PGCE in secondary drama and extensive experience in education.
I love being part of the Become Inspired team because:
They genuinely care about giving young people relevant knowledge that helps them navigate the world around them.
An interesting thing about me:
I ran the London Marathon in 2025. I don’t go on about it… much!

An experienced performer and workshop facilitator, helping children learn through practical, creative and memorable experiences.

I’m a stilt walker and fire breather — though not at the same time!
